Stirling engine model.

Every year humanity consumes more and more electricity, at the same time resources are running out. Therefore, we are have to come up with new sources of electricity. This work is devoted to the principle of operation, types, advantages and disadvantages of the Stirling engine. It is a heat engine of external combustion. External combustion engines have advantages, as compared with internal combustion engines, for example economical. The aim of the work is to creating of Stirling engine working model. Work tasks: • 1. To study the history of Stirling engine creation it’s types and principle of action. • 2. To assemble a working model of the Stirling engine. • 3. To determine the profitability of the engine. • 4. To review possible ways of engine’s using • 5. To create a site. Research object: Stirling engine model. Research methods: 1. collection of information; 2. experimenting; 3. modeling; 4. demonstration of engine operation; 5. analysing of the data obtained. We have 5 models of Stirling engine in operation. Our model is a compromise between the alpha and beta types. After some tests of Stirling engine we determined: 1. Efficiency and power of the Stirling engine. 2. The number of revolutions. 3. Engine profitability. 4. Possible using is determed. 5. A smart cooling system was created. For counting turns there was no engine developed by the tachometer. This one there was a tachometer created on the basis of payment cards Arduino Uno. Programmable this system in the development environment Arduino ide. The code is being written in the programming language C++. We conducted an experiment to determine the efficiency of the cooling system, namely, we measured the temperature of the refrigerant at different intervals of the engine.(Graph #1). According to the data obtained, a “Smart cooling system”was created. It consists of: a temperature sensor (ds18b20) immersed in a refrigerant, a microcontroller with isolation(Arduino Uno), a low-level relay(power supply to the cooler), a cooler(heat removal). The principle of operation is very simple: when the extreme temperature limit is reached (60 0C), the cooler(fan) is turned on to remove heat. For builds charts used the program Microsoft Excel 2013. . These calculations available on our website(dvigatel.fun) in the “about” section research”. Based on the research results, we suggested that the engine can be used in: • Nuclear power areas. • Heating main • Woodworking areas. • Heat pumps. This work has practical importance of the Energy.
