PRO-TECH WALLET is a project dedicated to prevent NFC related crimes and add a warning and authority factor unlike the other options on the market. After related research was done aluminum foil turned was found a great option for shielding due to its flexibility, low cost and its function as a reflective surface for NFC fields. After shielding was placed inside the wallet a reed switch was placed on the outer surface of the shield for the detection ability of the NFC fields the reed switch was then connected to a Arduino mini module with a vibration engine for a warning system that would trigger in a NFC field afterwards a Bluetooth module was also added to establish communication between the wallet and a mobile device with the app called “PROTECH” installed. The mobile application would simply display a template message on the phone screen whenever the wallet sent a stress signal for the user, the user would either approve or deny with the help of a button if approved the template message with all the necessary information (Not specified due to differing laws in each country) would be sent to the local authorities SMS report line. During the testing process the wallet showed complete immunity to NFC fields while completing all the necessary tasks to keep the user safe in the fastest way possible, the only negative observation made was the wallet being triggered by X-ray’s found in shopping malls or such a like places, how ever the built in authorization system prevented unwanted reports being sent to the authorities and prevented the waste of time and recourses.
